Nathan Morris, President and CEO of Morris Family Homes, along with wife, Megan, co-owner and executive vice president of the family firm, announced Wednesday, July 28, the most recent of the company’s acquisition partnerships, this time with David Goodwin, Tim Goodwin, and Chris Sievers, and the team from Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, with two locations in Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana, and one in Washington, Daviess County, Indiana.

Morris said, “We are excited to bring our family’s commitment to excellence in serving families into partnership with David, Tim, and Chris, along with their exceptional team, who have for years served Gibson and now Daviess Counties in Indiana with unrelenting dignity, honor, and respect. The core values of Morris Family Homes are a perfect match for those of Goodwin-Sievers. This will prove to be a wonderful continuation of the exquisite care that the good people of Vincennes and Washington, Indiana, deserve and have come to expect.”

The partnership, which will see the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home locations in Vincennes partnering closely with the other of the Morrises’ Indiana locations, Holder Funeral Home, in nearby Owensville, Gibson County, Indiana, to offer a comprehensive and widespread service to all of Gibson County, is set to begin officially on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

In 2020, Morris Family Homes was a recipient of the coveted National Funeral Directors Association’s (NFDA) Pursuit of Excellence Award, which honors 147 funeral homes out of the 11,000 recognized funeral service establishments across fifty countries.

In 2015, Nathan and Megan Morris founded Morris Family Homes, which is devoted to continuing to implement the exceptional service that communities within Kentucky and Indiana have grown to expect from the most incredible of people. “We are here. We are invested in this community. We realize your family deserves the absolute best and will never settle for anything less,” Morris said.
